Candivore raises $10m | GamesIndustry.biz

Studio behind Match Masters has amassed $22 million in funding to date, aims to make more multiplayer titles

Israeli developer Candivore has raised $10 million in a round of funding to fuel the development of casual multiplayer games for mobile.

This latest round was led by VC firm Vgames, with contribution from Tiger Global Management. The Tel Aviv-based outfit has raised $22 million in total.

Candivore is the studio behind PVP match-three title Match Masters, which currently has over five million monthly users, as well as over 30 million lifetime installs racked up across Google Play and the Apple App Store.

“The mobile gaming space has been booming for years and our journey has been wilder than anything we could have imagined,” said Candivore CEO Gal Goldstein.

“As we continue to work passionately to add more features for our players, our continued partnership with Vgames will help our efforts to make Match Masters even more rewarding for our global community of users.”

Candivore raised a separate $12 million in February 2021, in a round also led by VGames. At the time, the investment was set to fuel the growth of the studio’s portfolio, as well as user acquisition.
