Liveblog: Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2022

Not-E3 2022 continues today with the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, and we’ll be liveblogging it right here. Will we see more of Starfield that isn’t CGI target footage and concept art? Could we get a closer look at Playground Games’ mysterious new Fable? Will Redfall get its first major public appearance since, uh, the last the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase? Dunno, but you can watch the whole show via the stream embedded below, and follow along with commentary from myself and vid bud Liam. The curtain raises at 6pm BST / 7pm CEST / 1pm ET.

Whichever games show up, it’s a good bet that most or all of them will be on PC, now that Microsoft has become far less averse to sharing Xbox “exclusives” with Windows – including by whacking them on PC Game Pass. On that note, Halo Infinite updates and the new Forza Motorsport are both likely inclusions, though I’m personally in the mood for something completely new. Even if it’s just adding to Summer Game Fest’s legion of spooky space games.

Or! Game Pass on the Steam Deck, but without any browser bodging. I’d settle for that. G’wan, Microsoft.
